Hello there… Here is a little bit about me!

My name is Holly Smith. I am married to my high school sweet heart and have two beautiful daughters. Growing up my mother was always into crafts. You name it and she could do it. I learned a lot from her by watching her over the years and helping out here and there. I made my first icing rose when I was 17 years old. My older brother was getting married and asked my mother to make his rehearsal dinner cake. It was an off white sheet cake adorned with roses. She had several roses to make and I was watching her (as I did often) and it always amazed me how she turned icing into beautiful borders, roses and so much more. Then she handed me a rose nail and showed me how to do it and I LOVED IT!! It took me having a family of my own and wanting to make them beautiful cakes and the inspiration of friends and family; that I decided to start making and designing cakes.
